The Phoenicians most likely never referred to themselves by this name. The name was used by Greeks, to describe a group of eastern Mediterranean / Canaanite polis ( city states ) which co-existed alongside other Canaanite states. The Phoenicians were one of the more prominent Canaanite nations. Israel was another. The Phoenicians emerged from Bronze Age Canaanite tribes. They may have called to themselves : the " Kenaʿani ". But more likely, they referred to themselves according to the name of the city they lived in, such as Byblos, Tyre, Sidon, or Carthage ( all located along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea ).
The Greeks also called a mythical purple bird " Phoenix " ( which shares a root word with Phoenician. The Greeks also used the word phoinix to refer to the Phoenicians ). The mythical bird that rises from its ashes, may have been associated with the Phoenicians. Ancient Greek historian Herodotus referred to the bird, but linked it to Egypt. The Egyptians likely adopted the myth from their neighbors, the Phoenicians, as Egypt and Phoenicia maintained very close tradings links. Some Egyptologists associate the Egyptian mythical Bennu sun bird with the Phoenix. The Bennu bird was most likely based on a heron ( the Ardea bennuides ). The Phoenix's ability to rise from the ashes was not found in Egyptian myths, but may have come from Phoenician legends.
In Hermetic traditions, the phoenix is associated with alchemy - an occult ' pseudo science '. A Latin phrase used by alchemists, and associated with the phoenix, is Igne Renovatur Integra - which means " through fire reborn whole ( i.e. perfected ) ". The phrase is used in the 18th Degree - the Knight of the Rose Croix ( Rose Cross ), in the Stone Cutters Lodge.
Hermetic refers to the legendary writings of Hermes Trismegistus - a syncretist of Greek and Egyptian occult beliefs. Rosicrucianism is an occult movement steeped in Hermetic traditions, that arose in Germany in the early 17th century after the publication of several texts announcing to the world, a new esoteric order. The texts were written by members of the XXXXX priesthood, so the actual authors were never revealed.
Two hundred and fifty years later, Prussian lodges, co-created by members of the XXXXX priesthood, would incorporate Rosicrucian beliefs, including a commitment to a new world order through grand ( occult ) rituals. The 1967 Blood Moon ritual and the 2001 September 3-towers ritual, are examples of grand occult rituals designed to inaugurate a New Age and to open a portal for the ‘ God of this World ’ - Sweet Lord xxxxx.

Phoenicians excelled at boat building - giving them an advantage in sea based trading. Maritime law was invented by the Phoenicians. Today, the Law of the Sea ( also known as Admiralty Law ) is not only used for managing the sea traffic, but nowadays, provides an alternative to Common Law / the Law of the Land for hearing commercial disputes.
Mining was another key industry. Precious metals ( including silver ), and various semi precious metals and stones, were actively mined in Phoenician colonies as far off as modern day Spain. Tin was traded from Britain. Egypt's Sinai Peninsula provided copper, traded for, with ceder wood. It was at these Sinai copper mines, that Phoenicians discovered the temple of Egyptian goddess Hathor ( HaH / HaH-tor ). She was adopted by the Phoenicians ( who wouldn't want a goddess associated with wealth ! ), and over the course of 400 years, she became known as . . . . YaH ( Yahweh ). Sometime around 1300 BC, another Canaanite - Moses of the Israelites - would encounter Hathor as he passed through the Sinai - an encounter that would change the religion of the Israelites forever.
Around 1000 BC, Solomon was introduced to Goddess Hathor by the Phoenician King and his priests. Israel's religion would once again, be transformed, this time, into a darker cult. In his quest for everlasting glory, Solomon adopted just about every deity in the region, including YaH / HaH, Semiramis ( who he publicly worshiped as the Canaanite's favorite goddess Astarte ), and 72 demons. Solomon deposed the incumbent high priest of his temple, and replaced him with XXXXX in 967 BC - a Phoenician who came with the Phoenician King of Tyre's blessings. After Solomon, the occult worshiping XXXXX priesthood moved to Samaria in the north, where they influenced the religious cult of the ( northern ) kingdom of Israel. The Kings of Judea in the south, gradually weaned themselves of all the deities and cult rituals, proclaiming " the I AM " as their sole god.
In 733 BC, the Neo-Assyrians began invading the Levant. The northern kingdom of Israel was soon overrun. The Israelite Kingdom was dismantled and de-populated. Assyrians began to populate the region. The cult worshiping priests - the XXXXXX - fled the region, heading west to Carthage and then across to southern Italy / Sicily, where Phoenicia maintained colonies. In the 8th century BC, Rome was a still a primitive Kingdom. Furthermore, there were no wars between Phoenician colonies in Italy & Rome ( that came later - the Punic Wars ). The wealthy XXXXXX priests saw an opportunity, and migrated to Rome and integrated into Roman society, becoming the nobility who would later constitute some of the Senatorial class during Rome's Republic era. Rome was a monarchy from 753 BC to 509 BC. This wealthy aristocratic families - led by their priests - the XXXXX - contributed not only to Rome's political life, but also established its religion. They funded the construction of two key temples dedicated to Saturn and Jupiter. The temples kept alive the ancient legends of a great cosmic collision where Saturn ( earth's original god ) was displaced by Jupiter. The names Saturn and Jupiter were Latinised versions of Ninutra ( the constant / the original ) and Marduk - gods both the Phoenicians and Mesopotamians worshiped.
The noble XXXXX families survived Rome's tumultuous events, spreading out throughout the empire, and eventually, throughout Europe, including to Venice ( Venetia - in Latin - derives from Phoenicia - the Ve and Ph sounds are similar ).
In Medieval Venice, they included the Badoer, Contarini, Dandolo, Michiel, Morosini, Polani, Sanudo, Tiepolo and the Zorz noble families.
The rise of Neo-Babylonian empire late in the 7th century BC, triggered a migration of Assyrians towards Europe, with Assyrians migrating to the Black Sea region where they became known as the Scythians.
The Assyrian kingdom's fall in 609 B.C. led to further migrations of Assyrians. They settled in western Europe, becoming the Frankish tribes. These Frankish invaders challenged Saxon tribes for supremacy and emerged victorious. On 25 December 800, Pope Leo III crowned the Frankish king Charlemagne the Holy Roman emperor. The ancient name for the Frankish tribes is the Deutsch ( i.e. the Germans and Dutch ) - both come from the same ancient root Teutch. Tuitsch was the father of Nimrod of Akkad ( who in Assyria was called Ninus ). The Hebrew Bible calls the father of Nimrod " Kush ". Is Tuitsch . . . Kush ? Likely yes. In time, the Franks became the German nation. Franks migrated to the north east of modern day Germany, to become known as the . . . Prussians.
In the 19th century, Prussian elites, searching for their ancient Assyrian roots, accepted the XXXXX priests as their mentors ( whilst outwardly continuing to practice Christianity ). This new union centered in Berlin, would result in the creation of new Lodges, where recruits could be initiated across Europe and later, around the world. It is here, that an ancient plan for a new global world order was carefully planned. The academic, Karl Marx was initiated into a Prussian Lodge, and led the intellectual arm of this movement. Revolutionaries such as V.V. Lenin, were trained in Berlin, and then unleashed to create the Communist uprising in Russia. Prussian elites, keen to achieve their new world order, are responsible for two world wars in the twentieth century.
Lodges were central to creating uprisings well before the Prussians adopted them. These Lodges arouse out of the Knights Templar, which were forced to go underground by their arch rivals . . . the Catholic Church. The original trinity cult - honouring King Nimrod, Semiramis and their son-of-god Tammuz, was worshiped by Phoenician priests. Nimrod is the Hebrew Bible's name for Emperor Naram-Sim - the first king of the Akkadian empire to declare himself a deity. After his death, his wife, Queen Semiramis created a cult deifying herself, her husband and her son ( who she now claimed was the incarnation of her husband ). Nimrod had worshiped the high god Ninurta - known later as the god Saturn - regarded as Earth’s original god ( ie the authentic true god of earth ).

Nimrod builds a tower and tries to kill the god of heaven, in order that HE may become the high god. Whether this is a myth or the event really did happen, the message is the same : the occult's first trinity is also the first anti-god cult who tried to destroy the ruling god ( “ Jupiter - the usurper of Saturn ” ).
Where did the Phoenician priesthood & royal families come from ?
Phoenician priests and royal families were not indigenous Canaanites, but descendants of Akkadian royalty, which included King Nimrod ( a.k.a. King Naram-Sim of Akkad ).
The Akkadian Empire existed from approximately 2333–2000 BC, whilst Phoenicia's prominence as a maritime civilisation began after 1200 BC ( coinciding with the time of Solomon ). The Akkadian Empire, under kings like Sargon and Naram-Sin, militarily conquered and controlled parts of the Levant. See map below.
Akkadian trade routes went as far west as the Mediterranean coast, where the Phoenician city-states would later emerge. The Akkadians' influence on the region laid the groundwork for later cultural, and political developments, leading to the rise of the Phoenician maritime empire. Migrating some of the Akkadian ruling class to the Levant, ensured Akkadian influence would be maintained in the region.
Akkadian Queen Semiramis’ Cult of Nimrod thus came to the Levant with Akkadian elites, who settled on the Mediterranean’s eastern coast. From these elites, the priests of Phoenicia were adopted by Israel’s King Solomon in 967 BC and became known as . . . the XXXXX ( occult ) priesthood. Amongst the many deities sought by Solomon for blessings, were the Nimrod trinity, Saturn ( called Ninurta in Akkad - i.e. Earth’s true god ! ) and 72 demons !
Gods Nimrod, Semiramis & Tammuz continued to be honoured by the Akkadian elites who settled in the Levant. Local titles, in local languages, replaced their original Akkadian names.
Semiramis was worshiped by the name Astarte which whom she was merged to occult her identity. She was called Ishtar in Babylon and Easter in modern times. In Akkadia she called herself the moon goddess, and in Phoenicia she was symbolised by a dove ( a symbol adopted by the Catholic Church ).
Tammuz - the annual resurrecting son-of-god Nimrod - was called Adonis ( meaning Lord ) in Phoenicia. A mid-summer ' mourning for Tammuz ' festival marked the resurrection. His cult center was in Byblos. His mother's temple ( Astarte / Semiramis ) was also built in Byblos. Semiramis was also the lover of her son ( not an unusual relationship in ancient myths or amongst the elites ).

The important link here is between King Solomon and the Phoenician king Hiram - who not only provided cedar wood for Solomon's temple rebuild in Tanis Egypt, but also priests including XXXX - a very clever way to spread Phoenician influence !
But with the priests, came occult beliefs, including the worship of the original occult trinity / anti-god cult. Israel's religion would never be the same.

Phoenician priests and royal families were not indigenous Canaanites, but descendants of Akkadian royalty, which included King Nimrod ( a.k.a. King Naram-Sim of Akkad ).
The Akkadian Empire existed from approximately 2333–2000 BC, whilst Phoenicia's prominence as a maritime civilisation began after 1200 BC ( coinciding with the time of Solomon ). The Akkadian Empire, under kings like Sargon and Naram-Sin, militarily conquered and controlled parts of the Levant. See map below.
Akkadian trade routes went as far west as the Mediterranean coast, where the Phoenician city-states would later emerge. The Akkadians' influence on the region laid the groundwork for later cultural, and political developments, leading to the rise of the Phoenician maritime empire. Migrating some of the Akkadian ruling class to the Levant, ensured Akkadian influence would be maintained in the region.
Akkadian Queen Semiramis’ Cult of Nimrod thus came to the Levant with Akkadian elites, who settled on the Mediterranean’s eastern coast. From these elites, the priests of Phoenicia were adopted by Israel’s King Solomon in 967 BC and became known as . . . the XXXXX ( occult ) priesthood. Amongst the many deities sought by Solomon for blessings, were the Nimrod trinity, Saturn ( called Ninurta in Akkad - i.e. Earth’s true god ! ) and 72 demons !
Gods Nimrod, Semiramis & Tammuz continued to be honoured by the Akkadian elites who settled in the Levant. Local titles, in local languages, replaced their original Akkadian names.
Semiramis was worshiped by the name Astarte which whom she was merged to occult her identity. She was called Ishtar in Babylon and Easter in modern times. In Akkadia she called herself the moon goddess, and in Phoenicia she was symbolised by a dove ( a symbol adopted by the Catholic Church ).
Tammuz - the annual resurrecting son-of-god Nimrod - was called Adonis ( meaning Lord ) in Phoenicia. A mid-summer ' mourning for Tammuz ' festival marked the resurrection. His cult center was in Byblos. His mother's temple ( Astarte / Semiramis ) was also built in Byblos. Semiramis was also the lover of her son ( not an unusual relationship in ancient myths or amongst the elites ).

The important link here is between King Solomon and the Phoenician king Hiram - who not only provided cedar wood for Solomon's temple rebuild in Tanis Egypt, but also priests including XXXX - a very clever way to spread Phoenician influence !
