Is Lucifer . . . Satan the fallen angel ? Or in the Hebrew Bible, is Lucifer a coded reference to King Nebuchadnezzar, who Isaiah compares to planet Venus ? This is an accepted interpretation in modern Judaism. The Catholic Church however, set out in the the decrees of the Fourth Lateran Council, to equate Lucifer with Satan, referencing Isaiah (14 : 12 ). She dances in a circle on an 8-pointed star - the Star of Ishtar ( aka Semiramis - first anti-god goddess ). " Who builds the tower " she asks ?
