Age of Aquarius
The concept of a Spiritual Great Age
Modern astronomy recognises 88 constellations, and at least 14 of them are found along the ecliptic - the sun’s apparent circular path around Earth ( including Ophiuchus, and Orion as well as the 12 commonly known ‘ Zodiac ’ constellations, such as Virgo and Aquarius ).
A complete cycle of Astronomical Great Ages ( as defined by the International Astronomical Union ) takes 26,000 years ( i.e. the Sun takes approximately 26,000 years to pass through all constellations along the ecliptic ). This 26,000 year cycle is known as a Great Year.
In Aquarian Spirituality, a Spiritual Great Age is a time period, inspired by events in the heavens, including the Sun’s presence ' in ' a constellation along the ecliptic.
There are 12 Spiritual Great Ages, totaling a time period of 26,000 years.
Spiritual Great Ages average 2,167 years.
A Spiritual Great Age can be shorter or longer, as guided by events in the heavens.
The recent Piscine Age was 2,086 years ( 67 BC to 2020 AD ).
The Aquarian Spiritual Age dawned in 2020 AD, marked by events in the heavens. We now wait for the Arch Angel Michael to ordain the New Age.
Each Spiritual Great Age has been marked by significant new insights and wisdom, which has then gone on to influence and characterise spiritual practices during that Great Age.
A Spiritual Great Age is not strictly defined by astronomical definitions of a Great Age. Some of our Aquarian Spirituality Spiritual Great Ages do differ in terms of time spans, compared to astronomically-determined Great Ages.
For example, we state that the Piscine Spiritual Great Age dawned in 67 BC, and concluded in 2020 AD, whilst an astronomical measurement of the Pisces Age began in 67 BC and claims that the Sun will leave the constellation of Pisces in the year 2600 AD. That’s 2,666 years ! Far longer than the average Great Age.
The way astronomical constellation boundaries have been set, results in some constellations housing the Sun for significantly longer periods ( e.g. Pisces ) than other constellations ( e.g. Scorpius ).
Why is the Pisces constellation boundaries are so long ? To find out WHO populated the International Astronomy Union ( I.A.U. ) during its founding era when constellation boundaries were set, get any of our Aquarian Spirituality books from amazon.com
Who wants the Christian ' Age ' ( and its profitable institutions ) to remain for as long as possible ? Who would therefore hope for a long Pisces Age to delay any talk of a new spiritual Age - as foretold by the great Christian futurist and First Prophet of the Aquarian Age - Joachim de Fiore ?
The International Astronomy Union's boundaries for the Astronomical Age of Pisces stretch from 67 BC to 2600 AD. The 67 BC timing concurs with the calculations of Belgian's great astronomer and mathematician - Dr Jean Meeus. But we don't concur with 2600 AD being the end time of the Age of Pisces.
According to the I.A.U., in 2600 AD, the Sun will finally pass into the Aquarius constellation, thus marking the Astronomical Age of Aquarius. Their astronomical Age of Pisces therefore lasts a staggering 2,666 years - well beyond the average time the Sun spends in any other constellation.
We do not accept the I.A.U's ' Long Pisces ' Great Age measurement, and instead, we propose that events in the skies in 2020, provide sufficient inspiration for us to declare the closing of the Piscine Spiritual Age.
In Aquarian Spirituality, we declare the Aquarian Age dawned in 2020 AD, guided by events in the heavens that year .
Below : The amended image below is from March 20, 2020 using the StarWalk 2 App. The corrected boundary between Pisces and Aquarius ( see the bright red line near the Sun ). On Equinox Day 2020 ( March 21st ), the Sun passed, what should be, the last star in Pisces ( i-Pisces ). The Sun should now be in Aquarius. Without our boundary correction, the Sun would continue to be in the ' fake ' ( Long ) Pisces constellation for more than 500 years. That's 2600 years ' under ' Pisces - well beyond the Great Age average of 2167 years.
So, who is responsible for creating this ' Long ' Pisces Zodiac ? Who would benefit most from a long Pisces Age ?
Who sets constellation boundaries in the first place ? Who has significant influence over this organisation ?
